Securing The Windows Registry Tips

Registry is a large database that govern how the Windows run with lancer. By editing the registry, and do a little editing to the right, you can improve the performance of Windows.

Editing the registry can be done through the Registry editor, aka Regedit which is the Windows directory. Given its function is so important, the registry is also one used by bad guys to interfere with the performance of your computer or laptop. Especially on Windows 7, the easier access regedit thanks to the presence of the search feature in start menu.

To secure or protect your Windows registry, there Could do the trick this follows :

Type "regedit" via Start, then go to the subkey HKEY_USERS_DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ System
Make a data DisableRegistryTools DWORD with the name and fill in the data with "0"
Perform backups of the registry on the key. Way, click File> Export ... and named Open
Get back into the DWORD data, dang anti-value with "I"
Repeat step 3 with different names, for example Close

Now exit Regedit and restart your Registry Editor. And will see some results, now Windows will issue an error message stating that you can not edit the registry.

To reopen the protection that you have done, run Open.reg file that you created in step three. Later, you can close access to the registry back quickly through close reg file.
